BMC, one of the leading military vehicle manufacturers in Türkiye, will exhibit its military vehicles and the engines used in the vehicles developed with 100% Turkish engineering at the International Defense Exhibition and Conference IDEX 2025, to be held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, between February 17-21, 2025.

At IDEX 2025 showcasing the latest defense technologies, KİRPİ II, an upgraded version of the KİRPİ produced by BMC and actively used by the UAE, which is equipped with independent suspension and the latest technology, ALTUĞ 8x8, which offers multi-mission capability on a single platform with its modular roof concept, VURAN, which successfully fulfills many missions thanks to the integration of different weapon equipment as well as 400 HP TUNA engine developed by BMC POWER, 600 HP marine engine LEVEND designed for marine vehicles, and 1500 HP BATU engine will be presented to the visitors.

KİRPİ II 4x4 – Mine Resistant  Ambush Protected Vehicle

The KİRPİ Mine Resistant Vehicle Range successfully fulfills various missions with many different versions such as Ambulance, METI (Mine and Improvised Explosive Device Detection and Destruction Vehicle), Cargo Transport Vehicle and 6x6. With its superior level of protection in its class, it serves as one of the most important defense vehicles in several countries (United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Qatar, Somalia), especially in Türkiye.

ALTUĞ 8x8 – Armored Infantry Vehicle

ALTUĞ 8x8 Armored Infantry Vehicle (with 35 millimeter gun turret) and Armored Personnel Carrier (with 12.7 millimeter gun turret) are designed to meet all the needs of the conventional and asymmetric battlefield in its class. A high domestic content rate of up to 80 percent is targeted for the ALTUĞ 8x8 series vehicles. In addition to the domestic and national axle equipment in all versions of the vehicles, efforts are underway to use domestic engines in the 8x8 and 6x6 versions with 12.7 millimeter gun turrets. Capable of carrying all types of weapons from 7.62 millimeters to 120 millimeters, ALTUĞ 8x8 offers superior protection against mines and improvised explosive devices. ALTUĞ can carry a payload of up to 8 tons. With its removable and replaceable vehicle roof concept, ALTUĞ offers "multi-mission capability on a single platform", and operates with advanced maneuvering capability thanks to its 4-axle steering.

VURAN 4x4 – Multi-Purpose Armored Vehicle

With its carrying capacity of 9 people, high protection and superior mobility, VURAN 4x4 offers high protection against mine and ballistic threats thanks to its monocoque-type armored cabin, special armored windows and specially designed seats. Featuring a special camera vision system, automatic fire extinguishing system, central tire inflation capability and high ballistic, mine and improvised explosive device protection, VURAN 4x4 successfully performs missions such as sensitive point or facility protection, patrolling between outposts, convoy protection, region, point and road reconnaissance, and ensuring physical border security in the harshest climatic conditions.

With its multi-barrel rocket launcher, mortar and remote-controlled weapon systems, VURAN 4x4 successfully fulfills various missions thanks to the integration of different weapon equipment. VURAN 4x4 Multi-Purpose Armored Vehicles are successfully operating not only in Türkiye but also in Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the NATO Peacekeeping Force.
