Along with Altay Tank, BMC booth, which hosts Tank Transporter, Kirpi II, Kirpi II Ambulance, Amazon (RCS), Mortar and Standard Multi-Purpose Armored Vehicles, 5 Ton TWV with Armored Cabin, Aktan (Fuel Tanker for Land Platforms), Container Transporter and Riot Control Vehicle, attracted great attention by all participants and the visitors.
As one of the leading commercial and military vehicles manufacturers, BMC demonstrated active participation in IDEF’19 Fair, one of the prestigious defence industry fairs both in Turkey and the region. Developing projects for the different needs of Turkish Armed Forces and law enforces in the first place, as well as for allied countries, BMC exhibited 11 military vehicles on its approx. 1,500 sq. stand as one of the biggest participants of the fair. Booth also hosted Tank Transporter, Kirpi II, Kirpi II Ambulance, Amazon (RCS), Mortar and Standard Multi-Purpose Armored Vehicles, 5 Ton TWV with Armored Cabin, AKTAN (Fuel Tanker for Land Platforms), Container Transporter and Riot Control Vehicle along with Altay Tank.
As in every IDEF Fair, BMC launched its new vehicles, reflecting its leading role in the sector.
The latest version of “Amazon Multi-Purpose Armored Vehicle with Remote Control System” which was launched early this year also in presence of the President and tactical wheeled vehicles equipped with advanced technologies which were previously introduced at different events were also exhibited at BMC booth was visited by the President and the accompanying high-level delegates on the very first day of the fair. The new versions of BMC's legendary “Mine-Protected Vehicle KİRPİ” as well as different specially developed vehicles with various specifications were first introduced to the sector at the IDEF’19 Fair.
The main leading role of the BMC stand was the National Battle Tank ALTAY, which its main contractor is BMC. The new version of ALTAY, which its mass production will be under the leadership of BMC, was drawn great interest during the fair.
On the second day of the fair, Altay Tank Mass Production Project Main Subcontractors Contract Signing Ceremony is held with the attendance of President of Defence Industries Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, BMC's Executive Board Members of BMC, Aselsan, Roketsan, MKEK and Havelsan.
The participants and visitors were given detailed information about the vehicles and upcoming projects of BMC Defence while BMC booth drawing intense interest during the fair.
