As one of the leading companies in the Turkish defence industry, BMC took its place at 8th International Indonesian Defence Fair (Indo Defence Expo 2018), held between the dates November 7 – 10, 2018.

INDO DEFENSE 2018 EXPO & FORUM Indonesia, whic we participated under the auspices of the Turkish Presidency of Defence Industries, draws attention as one of the most important defence industry fairs organized every two years in the capital Jakarta.

The Republic of Indonesia, the fourth most populous country in the world and the most populous Muslim country, consists of 17 thousand islands in Southeast Asia and Oceania. Indonesia is one of the most important military forces in the region with 435 thousand active military personnel, 441 military aircraft, 418 battle tanks, 221 naval ships and an annual defense budget of 6.9 billion dollars.

Indo Defense Fair is an important and strategic meeting point for the pioneers of the defense industry sector in Indonesia as well as in Asia Pacific countries. Although it is considered as one of the most important defence industry fairs in the region in terms of marine, land and air forces, many domestic and foreign companies and delegations were welcomed at the fair including 20 of the leading Turkish defence industry companies, this year.

BMC stand, which hosted its guests in an area of 60 m2 and with the models of its leading and well known defence vehicles, was quite active during the fair. Indonesian military and civilian authorities including the authorities of the neighboring countries were welcomed with great interest and also product group defence vehicles, on-going defence industry projects and the company itself were presented at the BMC booth.
